As the nodal agency for implementation of UID including Aadhaar enrolments, seeding of Aadhaar into the department’s databases and applications and Aadhaar authentication infrastructure in the State of Karnataka, the Centre for e-Governance (CeG) has taken a holistic view for Aadhaar enablement in the State. Thereby, the following strategy has been adopted to achieve the stated goals:

  1. Develop a State level framework for seeding of resident databases of the departments with the correct Aadhaar information and make the framework fully operational.
  2. Develop a single consolidated view of the services and benefits availed by a citizen across departments.
  3. Provide inputs to the departments and CeG to arrive at feasible agreeable solution, for the integration of Aadhaar validation into Departments’ application, integration for the seeding adaptor functionality and other CeG-department integrations envisaged here.
  4. Develop a State-wide Resident Data Governance Framework and build secured and sustainable ICT infrastructure for the same.

The Karnataka Resident Data Hub (KRDH) Platform is envisaged as comprehensive end-to-end solution for enabling department’s applications and databases to provide Aadhaar based service delivery, which consists of departments to seed Aadhaar accurately into their databases, enable cleansing of their databases, Aadhaar based authentication.
